Hello! - welcome to my blog....I am very lucky to have a job I love, meeting new people every day, and traveling around the country with my trusty camera (well actually more than just a camera!) and here are some of my stories and the shoots I have done...... |

A recent shoot for Vickie at North PR, of Richard Clark, founder of the Drynks Company. The North West company is the UK’s only "state-of-the-art dealcoholisation technology” company which gently removes alcohol from full strength alcohol, while retaining the character and flavour of the original liquid. Shot in Manchester's trendy Northern Quarter.
Here is a recent shoot I shot after being commissioned by Chinese Bus and Coach manufacturer Yutong and their UK distributors Pelican. Yutong are a giant in the industry and are increasing their market in electric buses in the UK. They wanted a comprehensive shoot to illustrate one of their hi-tech buses, and here are some of the images.
My client Ongo approached me to create a short film for them to tell the story of the Westcliff estate in Scunthorpe - right from its creation in the 1960's through till today. Ongo along with the local authority have created The Arc - a community hub on Westcliff.
We came up with idea of having a a narrator on screen throughout the film often walking to camera telling the story of the area. Mollie, a drama student who was brought up on Westcliff took up the challenge and did a brilliant job in her first on screen role.
I filmed and directed over three days, creating the film using my Nikon D810 as main camera, and D4 as second camera, and a lot of the footage was filmed using a 'Steadicam' type rig for the walking shots to give that smooth finish.
Editing took several days using the footage and some archive material provided by residents in the area, and then graphics and music added to creeate the final film.
Here it is :
Here are a couple of images from a recently commissioned photo shoot for the Sun Newspaper.
Was told in advance that I was going to be photographing five dogs and I must admit when I got there they were a dream to photograph!
Five great Dandie Dinmont Terriers!
Had the opportunity to spend some time around Leeds City Centre capturing the best of it's architecture and sights for one of my clients who commissioned the work.
Like most cities and towns, it's only when you take time to wander and look around that you appreciate the beauty of the place.
Was great going back to B&W for a change, reminds me of my days starting out at school but without the mess of chemicals and darkrooms!
