Hello, welcome to my blog pages. This is all a bit new to me but I’ll try to inform with my future entries and give an insight into my work as a freelance photographer.
I have been a photographer now for 23 years and have covered everything there is to do really in the world of press and pr, but still as a new day comes along there are always things to learn and experience.
My job is varied working for newspapers, magazines, broadcasters, pr agencies and companies, so never a dull day!
I recently worked on a shoot for Asda in Snowdonia a couple of months back, where their colleagues and suppliers took part in a gruelling cycle, walking and canoeing challenge for charity. Normally an overnight would be a hotel or travelodge, but this one was rather different sleeping in one man tents on a campsite. Not luxury but wow was it fun, with the amazing scenery of Snowdonia and the elements - driving rain that night and pretty cold too!
There were eighty Asda tents on the site and a marquee with hot food and drink. It was going back to nature and one of those jobs, despite the weather, which made me think how much I love the job!
Lots of money was raised and lots of fun had by all!
